Clean welds. Just gotta get it powder coated and mount it. Fits the XJ well

Awesome product and Great Company!

Did not fit without hours of bending and filing, but I think my factory **** holes are way off so i won't hold that against them. Overall quality is acceptable. The issue for me was the shipping cost and lack of response. I needed it quick so i paid the extra $10($35 total) for usps priority because it showed an estimate of 2 days. The problem is that they still just shipped it through ups for transit and usps only brought it to my house once in the area and that took about a week. If i had known that i would've added something else and just got free shipping. So i paid almost the cost of the item for slower than ground shipping(surepost). I emailed them about it and still haven't gotten a response so f*** me i guess. I was thinking about getting a bumper but i will no longer be doing that unless they give me a deal for my troubles. Bad business.

Placed my order and it was built and shipped quickly. Will definitely be buying from Dirt Bound again!

couldn't just add an update to my previous reviews so I will post my only negative about the rear frame stiffener is the missing rear sway bar bushing mount holes??????????? What does the limited lifetime warranty cover after the customer has already welded these in? Very disappointed because now we gotta figure out how to solve this problem without destroying part of our work. FYI - The Country XJ didn't come with a rear sway bar. My Xj is a SPORT with came with a sway bar. Lifted Jeeps are naturally more unstable so bigger tires, and particularly the sway bars front and rear are important for hwy driving and towing.

Well built brackets. Work out great. Was able to install tool box above tonneau cover close to back window and able open tonneau cover.

Excellent quality, great fit. Mine even survived a prior XJ burning to the ground! If your wondering how Dirtbounds stinger kit fits on this bumper, its tight but does fit and look great.

Best manufactured metal replacement part. It will last longer than my Cherokee.

Couldn't figure out how to add Pass Side Stiffener work to previous review so posted this additional review. The pic associated with this one shows Pass Side Stiffener welded with weld locations seam sealed prior to using Eastwoods xtreme Platinum product (4 hr flash time) But needed to wait 48 hours to fully cure before next step. After 48 hr cure, used Eastwoods xtreme Chassis Black, 2 coats (15min flash time).
And Finally will rubberize.

Any Salt Belt driven xj will benefit from rust mitigation. This frame stiffener is just what my auto body technician needed. The most common issue seen in the review pictures (seen here and elsewhere like naxja and jeepforum) is a rusted out Fuel Hose Frame Pass-Thru (if that's what they call it). Luckily, only the oval shield insert on the Fuel Hose Frame Pass-Thru needed to be re-fabricated. Frame steel good but stiffener's definitely needed. Opted against using Dirtbound's custom Leaf Spring plate that relocates axle snubber but had to deal with a broken snubber bolt (re-drilled and tapped) so had to enlarge stiffener relief hole for that snubber bolt. (will post pass side soon)

Ordered the Lower Quarter Panel Armor for my 2000 XJ, as there was terrible rust on them after taking the rear trim off. These are heavy-duty pieces! I knew what I was ordering, but didn't realize how heavy-duty pieces were actually going to be. Ready to go for any color you want to put on them, which makes customization a breeze. These are definitely going to be a great addition not just to patch holes, but for protection offroad too!

actually i bought it for a 2000 suzuki vitara. made a couple mods to the brackets, drilled a few hole and its on there. fits as well as can be expected because its for a cherokee. im happy with the product i purchased, nicely cut pieces, and brackets. will buy again.

Looks great on the Comanche! Fits perfect. Wish I had ordered the rear armor at the same time. Had a small issue with the brackets, but I emailed the staff and they fixed the issue right away. I am definitely gonna buy more stuff from Dirtbound. Happy to support anyone still making stuff for the Comanche!

I replaced two of these in my XJ’s. Always fit perfectly and are very solid. I’ve done a 2DR 5-speed and 4DR automatic. I pulled the console out in the 2DR. (Very easy) but left the automatic console in place so I wouldn’t have to disconnect the gear shifter.

These are nice sliders but the front attachment arm bracket on the pinch seam needs some tweaking. The bolts are just make it into the seam. The arm needs to be moved up just a bit. This is a common problem with this product.

I love the welding on it and it. It’s my cheap perfectly!
