Vehicle Modification and Safety Disclaimer

Modifying any motor vehicle should only be done by qualified individuals, as it can significantly impact both the safety and performance of the vehicle. DirtBound products are intended for off-road use only and are not approved for use on public roads by any governmental agency. By using our products, you acknowledge that DirtBound is not responsible for any adverse effects related to vehicle modifications or the use of our products.

Product Liability and Warranty

DirtBound makes no claims that its products will protect users from injury, death, or any other risks. The effectiveness and longevity of our products depend on proper installation, use, and maintenance. By purchasing and using DirtBound products, you assume all risks associated with their use.

DirtBound offers a limited lifetime warranty. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or improper installation. Under any circumstances, DirtBound's liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.

Indemnification

By using this website and/or purchasing DirtBound products, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DirtBound, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and suppliers from all claims, losses, expenses, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorney’s fees) related to your use of this website or our products, including but not limited to any breach of these Terms of Service.

Limitation of Liability

Your purchase and use of DirtBound products are at your own risk. DirtBound’s total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of any product sold. In no event shall DirtBound be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to personal injury, vehicle damage, or any other loss arising from the use or misuse of our products.

Typographical Errors and Changes

DirtBound is not responsible for typographical errors or inaccuracies in pricing, product descriptions, or other content. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

Dispute Resolution and Venue

By purchasing from DirtBound, you agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the use of our products—including but not limited to product liability, warranty claims, or contract disputes—shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration or mediation in Chisago County, Minnesota.

You waive any right to bring a lawsuit or class action against DirtBound in any other jurisdiction or court. You also agree to waive your right to a jury trial. Any arbitration or mediation will be governed by the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), and the judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Chisago County, Minnesota.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service and any policies or operating rules posted by DirtBound on this website constitute the entire agreement between you and DirtBound and supersede any prior agreements, communications, or proposals, whether oral or written, regarding your use of our products and services.

Shipping and Lead Times

Estimated Delivery

  • UPS, FedEx, USPS: Typically deliver within 2–5 business days after pickup from our location.

Shipping Guarantees

  • We cannot guarantee a specific delivery date.

Manufacturing Lead Times

  • Lead times can be viewed here. 

Please note: These times are estimates and may change. Most items are made to order in-house; we do not outsource our manufacturing.

Order Cancellation Policy

Within 48 Hours

  • Orders can be canceled within 48 hours of placement but are subject to a 5% fee due to non-refundable card processing fees.

After 48 Hours

  • Cancellations requested after 48 hours, but before fabrication begins, will incur a 20% cancellation/restocking fee.

Fabrication Stage

  • Orders cannot be canceled once fabrication has started or the order has been shipped.
    • Note: Fabrication is considered started once laser cutting has begun.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing to hello@dirtboundoffroad.com, and you will be notified of approval and refund.

Acknowledgment of Lead Times

By placing an order with DirtBound, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the manufacturing lead times stated on the lead times page. You understand that these lead times are estimates and are subject to change due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to delays from third parties, acts of God, or other unforeseen circumstances.

PayPal Orders

Customers using PayPal for payment agree not to use PayPal's 'Item Not Received' or 'Dispute' features for inquiries about order status. Instead, we request that you email us directly at hello@dirtboundoffroad.com for assistance, as our shop team does not have access to PayPal accounts.
