Like always great work

There were no directions. I sent an email asking for some that went unanswered - that's why I gave it a four star review instead of a five.

A makeshift RivNut tool was provided and worked 'okay'. But with it, it's hard to tell when you've got the rivet portion properly seated. I stripped the bolt head out on the tool about halfway through installation and ended up buying a $60 tool with extra rivnuts off Amazon. That tool was worth every penny and made rivnut installation so much easier AND faster on the other side.

As for the panel fitment, my 2001 XJ has different taillight/tailgate set up. They aren't as 'boxy', so it's not as clean of a fit but looks fine just the same.

I recommended these to someone else already and would again.

Simple product. Pretty straightforward. But I really really wish there was a better way than those wedge nuts or anchor nuts or however you call them. I ended up opening inside my interior paneling and used some nuts and lockwashers. I would have given five stars but those nuts give me lots and lots of trouble especially if they are not lined up correctly because your drill bit walks to the side a millimeter.

I got this for my 98 Cherokee, they fit like a glove and give an aggressive look. Cant be happier.

Help a friend install... For the price and time you spend painting and then buying their hardware kit it's a bit much... We did have to do a small bit of grinding.
