Solid product, but as others have noted nuts in bracket do not line up with factory holes.
Fit well helped build a strong foundation for our bumper
Worked good. Built a custom rear bumper that I have pulled some big trucks out with. Just what I needed.
90* break/bend wasnt tight enough… Had to file the holes in my frame to match the 1/2” holes that were too far inward to the frame Thought maybe I had it wrong but then the 4 bolt rear flange wouldnt fit So filed the holes 2001 xj Same on both sides
Looked great and seems extremely well constructed, but quickly found out after welding nuts in that none of the nuts line up with the holes in my unibody. I then had to purchase a set of carbide bits to oval out the holes in my unibody which worked really well and I was able to bolt them up with ease. I just wish the nut holes were a quarter inch further over so they'd line up perfectly from the start.
Other than that detail they look great and I can't wait to finish building the rest of my rear bumper and tire carrier off of them.
Well built, fast shipping. I did weld them together but, have not installed them yet. Overall I'm impressed
Purchased to move a hayman reese towbar into the factory bumper to gain some departure angle, thry came as described and quickly all the way to Australia, some bolt holes didn't line up in the frame rails of the unibody but this appeared to be the jeep that had been manufactured out of tolerance and neither side matched so i put that down to the jeep and not the brackets as they were identical and accurately laser cut, this was solved with a carbide burr to clearance holes further. Very happy with the product.
Pretty sturdy but I had to modify all the holes because they didn't line up
The brackets are well designed. Be prepared to slot out your frame holes because they don’t line up exactly.
The weld in nuts appear to be standard 1/2 inch thread and do not come with bolts. The factory bolts are M12x1.5 which is easy to mistake for 1/2” thread. The other problem is they don’t go up far enough for the next bolt hole that the factory gas tank heat shield bolts on to so you will have to modify it. I would probably just build my own or by elsewhere next time.
