Makes a good use of these mounting points when a tire carrier is installed and plate needs to be moved anyway.

Perfect! I just got my ham radio license and am looking to add a mobile radio to my XJ. This will be the perfect platform for the antenna.
Fits great and very sturdy. Only recommendation is to bolt it through the trunk instead of using the stock license plate bolts.
I give it 5 stars but" I did have to notch my license plate to fit the top 2 holes.. The quality is excellent 👌 and love the window cutout for the license plate light. Dirtbound makes quality stuff, I have several items from them. whish the would've lowered the mounting holes around .187 also my bracket dosen't look like the one in the profile pic with the X-brace, mine had a square opening which is totally fine.
Even had the little section cut out for the light to shine through on the XJ, simple design yet SUPER COOL! Thanks guys!
