DirtBound started as a dream in a two-car garage back in 2010, where we had a passion for building quality parts for Jeep Cherokee and Comanche. From those humble beginnings in Southern California to our shop today in Chisago City, MN, one thing has never changed—our dedication to crafting top-tier, durable gear for off-road enthusiasts.
Today, it’s just the two of us:
Max, Founder – I wear many hats around here: product design, running the lasers, welding, handling the website, and making sure you get the best customer service possible.
Bob – My right-hand man. He’s our go-to for welding, product design, and keeping our shop running smoothly as our laser tech and all-around shop monkey.
We may be small, but we pack a punch when it comes to capability. With advanced tools like our fiber plate laser, tube laser, and CNC press brake, we’re able to produce precise, high-quality parts—but it's our personal commitment to every piece we create that really sets us apart. Each product is made with care, tested to stand up to whatever trails and adventures you have in store.
Even though we’ve grown in equipment and space, we stay true to the roots that started it all. Our lean manufacturing process, powered by the KanbanCore system, helps us stay efficient while keeping that personal touch.
From our shop to your trail rig, every part we make is a reflection of our passion for the off-road community.
