The steering box spacer had all three of the spacer tubing pieces welded on in a different direction no surface flat/square to each other. If you want to spend time fixing a part you had hoped to bolt on and be done with buy it.
The holes lined up, but the bosses werent cut square and weren't welded on flat. Had to correct with a grinder.
Thank you for a bad *** product!!!
Just removed factory aluminum spacer. Got lucky and got all 3 bolts and factory spacer out intact. Installed the dirtbound steel spacer with no problems. I would highly recommend this product and dirtbound. David H..
I looked forward to this product and was super excited but when I got it it wouldn't let my gearbox tighten down all the way to sit flush on my frame.
Excellent, strong, well-made bracket/spacer! I painted it so it'll withstand the weather, but other than that, 10 out of 10.
We all know the bolts never want to come out of the steering box. The OEM spacer is junk this is high quality steel and the welds are perfect. Everything lines up perfect. Rescanned pairing before install to prevent rust.
The fitment was spot on. Seems like a good durable piece. Very well made.
very well made pice !
the factory one was busted in three spots.
Fit was perfect. Only know of a couple manufacturers making this spacer with the fourth hole—it’s a real no brainer. Combined with a frame plate on the other side, my steering box is much more solid. Not sure they’re terribly constructive, but my criticisms are 1. price/shipping felt steep once I got this thing in my hand 2. no sticker—I know, I know, if I want one, I should just order it, but…the Dirtbound brand was basically why I went with this one rather than a cheaper copy. Great name/logo—which sends me back to the site whenever I’m setting up my next upgrade.
